Good to know

Tips for Bali.

Temples need a sarong

Temples ask visitors to wear a sarong and sash. They are usually lent at the entrance.

Halal food takes planning

Bali is mostly Hindu, but there are halal restaurants in the main areas. We list the ones near your hotels.

Nusa Penida roads are rough

The island is worth it, but the roads are bumpy. It is not the best day for travellers with back problems.
